Handcrafted Norwegian Army Work Caps
Handcrafted Norwegian Army Work Caps
Get to Work
A Little Piece of Norway...
That’s the slogan from Norway’s best chocolate (non negotiable), and we are following right on their trail.
We also can offer a small piece of Norway. But this one goes on your head instead of in your mouth (unless you eat caps.)
From Norway with Love (for details)
As per usual, we get hung up on the details — and Bernot, who made the caps for us, was right there with us from the start.
One jacket becomes four caps — and on each jacket is a single Norwegian flag. That means 25% of the caps have a Norwegian flag emblem. Keeping some of these original details makes the whole project way more fun.
And the rivets and strap buckles are all burnished, to match the Red Hat Factory style.
Every Cap Made With Care
The caps are each handmade — with meticulous attention to detail — by the infamous cap artist Bernot, located in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Details
Reusing work jackets from the Norwegian Army and Army we made a variety of 5-panel and 6-panel cotton caps. The caps are made by Bernot, in Vilnius, Lithuania, by hand.
Some of the varieties have the original flag from the work jackets tacked on to it.
